Delta Airlines has won numerous awards in the course of their career. Though the list of awards and recognitions are quite exhausting, only a few are elaborated on, here:

Due to Delta’s unwavering customer focus and International level performance, they have been able to win numerous awards and garnered huge recognition. Amongst the numerous honors Delta Airlines has won are for outstanding customer satisfaction, as well as technical, financial, and operational performance.

JD Power Survey - 2006

According to the JD Power Survey for 2006, Delta Airlines is among the top airlines in US. Based on the votes cast by many passengers of the airline, Delta has been ranked the second overall among all the network carriers. Delta also had the best scores for aircraft comfort among all network carriers and also for satisfaction with their in-flight crews.

This is a proud moment for Delta Airlines. The achievement reflects their hard work which has gone to make Delta the preferred airline for customers. With this new fillip, Delta plans to further improve the airport experience for its customers by making their airport lobbies and gate areas more stylish, open and inviting. Delta aims to utilize the advancements in technology to assist customers by putting up self-help counters which shall help save time, and deliver a more comfortable and rewarding on-flight experience.

Delta Airlines understands that besides tickets services and counter assistance, customers also need to be pampered. Food and drinks are two things which are often ignored in favor or other, apparently, services. But Delta thinks otherwise. This thinking was validated when Delta Airlines won the 2006 ‘Most Original Wine List’ award.

Cellar in the Sky 2006
